Performance Bottlenecks Widened
The QMX 2120+ can manage a large number of up to 80 cameras. We guarantee that each ExuS Technology device is capable of delivering the specified features and performance at all times. However, it is possible to expand the number of cameras managed on the QMX 2120+ by installing additional Gigabit Ethernet cards. This will allow administrators to manage up to hundreds of cameras. The device will still be reliable in storing and archiving video data on your network.

You need suitable hardware and custom software for demanding video storage. The QStor QMX 2120+ is based on a Posix-compatible operating system and a hardware RAID storage solution. The RAID system is based on 12 enterprise class hard drives (hot swap) that can be operated in RAID modes 0, 1, 5 or 10. The default configuration offers 6 TB of storage and can be upgraded to unlimited capacity. Our QMX 2120+ is designed for rack mount systems and will require 2U. This unit comes with a redundant 80 PLUS Gold certified power supply for best power efficiency, and it can also be bonded and cascaded with a QMX 1040+ through the network ports.

The Wizard Helps
Our comfortable setup wizard helps to dramatically reduce the time required for installation. Cameras are automatically installed and integrated for surveillance, which makes any manual configuration obsolete. This is especially important if you need to setup multiple cameras. There is a 1-click web interface that allows to modify specific settings and to fine-tune settings for each camera if necessary.
Network Service At Its Best: An Own IP-Address, NFS, SMB, Bonjour
QStor QMX 2120+ supports all popular network protocols. Bonjour is used to scan the network for devices and services, the NFS protocol takes care of write operation and reads are executed via SMB. Each video camera receives its own IP address and works through an individual NFS share. It is also possible to access the QMX 2120+ via the Mobotix management software.
