DSC POLARITY REVERSAL MODULE FOR 4 WIRE Smoke Detector Interconnect

The PRM series modules are Polarity-Reversal Modules for use with the FSA series of 4 wire smoke detectors and smoke alarms with integral sounders. These modules provide a 'Tandem' connection such that when one smoke detector goes into alarm, all smoke detector horns will sound. When the control panel is initiated into alarm, it signals the PRM module to reverse the polarity of the power to the connected smoke detectors. Upon Power Polarity Reversal, all connected smoke detectors will sound their integral horn.

The PRM series modules are Polarity-Riversal modules for use with the FSA series of 2 and 4 wire smoke detectors with integral sounders. These modules provide a tandem connection such that when one smoke detector goes into alarm it signals the PRM module to reverse the polarity of the power to the connected smoke detectors. Upon power polarity reversal all connected smoke detectors will sound their integral horn.

POLARITY REV MODULE PCB ONLY FOR 4 WIRE SMOKE DETECTOR

he RM-2 Relay Module is used as an end-of-line (EOL) power supervision module for 4-wire smoke detectors. The RM-2 is used with the Polarity Reversal module PRM-4W and DSC FSA-410 series smoke detectors. When the PRM-4W reverses polarity on the smoke detector loop to activate all smoke detector sounders, the RM-2 Relay will continue to operatenormally (regardless of input power polarity). refer to the PRM-2W/4W Polarity Reversal Module Installation Instructions.
